The Institute of Traditional Massage of South Africa provides comprehensive practitioner training in Traditional Thai Massage Therapies. Founded in 2001 by Jean Moore, our workshops are based on some of those offered by leading Schools  in Thailand, and the ITMSA Thai practitioner training is recognised by The Institute of Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, a registered school with the Thai government. 

 

Training is first and foremost practical in nature. Being hands on has allowed trainee therapists of all nationalities and backgrounds to easily complete the course material successfully. Our training is comparatively quick. We have, through experience, honed our workshops to intensive and effective trainings that run over no more than 6 days per module. ITMSA therapists are comprehensively trained and can begin work immediately on completion of the modules, case studies and examinations.

 

ITMSA trainings are competitively priced. Although maximising module training hours we offer reduced rates, include group specials and offer further assistance to graduates after course completion. Please inquire with individual trainers for their current specal offers.

 

ITMSA trainers all specialise in different fields. We will choose a trainer to best suit your needs and area. All our trainers have undergone intensive teacher training with the Head of ITMSA personally and course material is standard.
