Jean Moore originally trained as a Sports Massage Therapist and completed a two year Therapeutic Massage Therapy diploma in South Africa. She also studied Advanced Sports Massage Techniques with the London School of Sports Massage. She has over 20 years experience in Remedial Massage, and specialized in back pain and injury.

 

Jean spent two years living and training in the East, where she completed training in Traditional Thai Massage, Advanced Thai and Medical Massage and finally completed her Teacher Training in these therapies. Jean spent many years exploring the Hawaiian Healing Arts and connecting physical pain with emotional and energetic blockage. She has done specific training in Pregnancy and Labor Massage as well as Infant Massage Instructor Training.

 

Jean has also completed training in Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Thai Foot Massage, Hot Stone Massage and has her Reiki Masters and Master Teacher’s degree.

 

Jean’s treatments are most often a synergy of all these therapies and are aimed at specifically targeting areas of pain, dysfunction and blockage. She uses a combination of deep tissue work, energetic work, exquisite stretching and manipulation intuitively to create release and healing for each individual client. Jean also offers private workshops, professional Thai Massage Training and registered Baby Massage classes as well as corporate seated massage.
